Cookie policy
Last updated 3 September 2026
This website uses as few cookies as possible, and none for advertising or cross-site tracking. That is why you do not see a cookie banner: under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, consent is not required for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. We refer to all of them as cookies here.
Cookies we use
| Name / purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Hosting security and load-balancing cookies set by our hosting provider to protect the site from abuse | Strictly necessary | Session |
| Client portal login session (portal.geldarts.co.uk, when in use) | Strictly necessary | Session, or up to 30 days if you choose “stay signed in” |
Analytics
If we measure website traffic we do so with a privacy-focused, cookieless tool that aggregates visits without identifying you or following you to other sites. No personal data is stored and no consent is required. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent before setting any non-essential cookie.
Third-party content
Pages that embed a booking calendar or map may set cookies from that provider when you interact with the embed. We only load such embeds where they are needed for the function you are using.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the client portal from working. Instructions: Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Cookies; Safari — Preferences › Privacy; Firefox — Settings › Privacy & Security; Edge — Settings › Cookies and site permissions.
